I work at the join between engineering and image-making. Most briefs arrive needing all of it — a product that has to ship, a film that has to sell it, and a visual language that holds the two together — and splitting that across three suppliers is where the idea usually goes missing.
In practice that means I write the code, hold the camera, and set the type. Fewer handoffs, one accountable person, and a shorter distance between the decision and the thing on screen.
